1 - Acceptance of Terms:

By using our gym, members agree to follow the terms and conditions, which ensure everyone's safety and well-being. These include rules on using mat areas and equipment, uniform requirements and behavior. Users must respect instructors and other students rights and privacy, and avoid disruptive or offensive behavior. By agreeing to these terms, users commit to maintaining a safe and enjoyable gym environment for all.

2 - Membership and Payment:

- All monthly memberships are set for monthly re-occurring automatic payments (no contracts). We require a payment card on-file for the monthly autopay. Monthly memberships include a one-time registration fee of $150.

- Yearly memberships are to be prepaid, in-full amount. After the one-year term is complete, the membership will renew automatically as monthly membership payments, unless otherwise notified.

- Cash is accepted only for yearly prepaid memberships.

- You may upgrade your membership at any time (ie. from Basic to Unlimited, or from monthly to yearly payments). You may downgrade your membership from your next billing date.

3 - Membership Freezes:

- Memberships may be frozen for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months within a calendar year (starting from Jan 1st). The freeze can be for either three consecutive months or separate months. Longer freezes require membership cancellation and re-signup. Returning members receive a 50% discount on the sign-up fee.

- Once the freeze period ends, membership and billing will reactivate automatically.

- All prepaid memberships will be extended by the number of frozen months.

- FAMILY PLANS: If a primary member freezes their membership, one of the family-add-on members will automatically become the main member, and the family-plan price will adjust accordingly. Therefore, the family-plan always requires at least one primary member with the main membership tier.

- All freeze requests must be done via email at contact@mmascienceacademy.com or through the members-app communication tab.

4 - Cancellation and Refund Policy:

- To cancel your membership, we require a 30-day notice prior to your next billing date. If you cancel your membership less than 30 days before your next payment is due, your payment will still be charged and your membership will be cancelled starting from the following billing cycle.

- No refunds will be issues for initial sing-up fee and first monthly payment.

- No refunds will be issues for yearly prepaid memberships, but you may transfer your membership to someone else.

- FAMILY PLANS: If a primary member cancels their membership, one of the family-add-on members will automatically become the main member, and the family-plan price will adjust accordingly. Therefore, the family-plan always requires at least one primary member with the main membership tier.

- All cancellation requests must be done via email at contact@mmascienceacademy.com or through the members-app communication tab.

5 - Communication:

We may communicate with members via email, phone, or other forms of contact regarding updates, promotions, newsletters, or any other relevant information. Members may opt-out of these communications by contacting us or editing communication settings in their members-app.

6 - Age and Consent:

Our children's programs are available for ages 4-14, and our Adults & Teens programs are for ages 14/15 and older. Minors under the age of 18 must provide parental consent to participate in gym activities. Parents or legal guardians must sign a waiver form on behalf of minors.

7 - Health and Medical Disclaimer:

Please consult a medical professional before starting any exercise program. MMA Science Academy is not responsible for any health-related issues injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur during gym activities.

8 - Academy Code of Conduct:

Users must not engage in any form of harassing, bullying, or discriminatory conduct. This includes but is not limited to, verbal, physical, or online behavior that is derogatory, abusive, or threatening towards other gym members, staff, or instructors. Members agree to indemnify and hold our gym harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their participation in gym activities. Any violation of this code of conduct may result in immediate termination of gym membership without refund.

9 - Privacy Policy:

MMA Science Academy takes the privacy of its members seriously. Personal information collected during sign-up and throughout membership is used only for internal purposes and will not be shared with third parties.

Information collected may include name, address, phone number, email address, billing information, and health history. This information is used to manage memberships, process payments, and ensure the safety of gym members.

All information is stored securely and access is restricted to authorized personnel only. Members may request access to their personal information or request that it be corrected or deleted.

MMA Science Academy reserves the right to modify its privacy policy at any time. Members will be notified of any changes to this policy.

10 - Intellectual Property:

MMA Science Academy holds all ownership and usage rights for content, images, videos, and any other intellectual property displayed on our website, email and social media channels.

11 - Modification of Terms:

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, and any changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the website. Members will be notified of any material changes to this policy.

12 - Membership Termination:

We reserve the right to terminate a member's account or access to the website for any reason, including but not limited to violation of our terms and conditions, inappropriate behavior, or breach of payment obligations.

Free Trials

- Free Trial Pass is only available for new students, and can only be used once.

Visitor Passes

- Class Pass (1 class) & Day Pass (all classes) are valid on the day of purchase.

- Week Pass is valid for one week from the date of purchase, and is available for unlimited classes.

- Month Pass is valid for one month from the date of purchase, and is available for unlimited classes.

- All Visitor Passes can be used for any of our Adults, Teens or Kids classes.

- Visitor Passes are non-refundable, as they are considered a one-time purchase and do not exceed a 1-month continuous duration.
